Job Description:
Within the IT and DBA teams dedicated to NDSS software, the DBA / Service Desk will have the following responsibilities:
- Databases administration
- Maintenance of SSIS Jobs
- Installation and configuration of NDSS packages
- Preparing Development and Test environment
- Support testing team and developing team
- Service Desk tasks
- Conceiving, designing and assisting to implement appropriate solutions
- Maintenance of PowerBuilder application
- Maintenance of .NET application
- Provide technical expertise and mentoring of development staff
Job requirements:
Technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge of SQL tools: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008
- Proven experience within a Service Desk, familiar with ITIL service support processes
- Very good knowledge of web-based development tools: Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2005/2008
- Very good knowledge of development tools: PowerBuilder 11.1
- Very good knowledge of Transact-SQL and the related XML technologies
- Very good knowledge of NDSS software
- Knowledge of ASP components, COM/COM+ technologies, Web Services and IIS
Experience:
- DBA Experience
- Service Desk experience
- Experience with SSIS and Stored procedures
- Proven experience in PowerBuilder projects
- Proven experience in .Net 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5 projects
- Experience with B2B projects including technologies such as XML/XSL, C#.
- A previous experience of minimum 3 months with NDSS software is mandatory.
